Family Fun Foto: The Whisper at Lintianshan (林田山)

In the 1940s, Lintianshan was one of the largest forestry centers in Taiwan.   It has been renovated into a forestry exhibition center by the Taiwanese Government and has become a popular attraction in eastern Taiwan. During our 3-day quick-and-dirty bus tour around the country, a quick 45 minutes stop here was included.  We are slow travelers by design and the 45 minutes did not seem much at this location.   Just the view of the mountains and the forests alone are worth the enjoyment for a good still 20 minutes.

There are many amazing giant wood carving structures in the exhibit. This was one of my favorites.

I guess we will have to explore the entire country at a much slower pace than 3 days!
