Are you looking to eat something healthy at home? Tired of eating fast food? Or maybe you’re already eating healthy.
Here’s another option to bring more veggies in your life but in 15 minutes. I like that it’s not coming out of a can! 🙂
You’ll need Corn. Preferably the organic kind if you can find it. (I love the small starchy kind we find in Asia. Ever had those? Can’t find those here in the US though!)
Peel off the husks and clean them (but leave them in the husks until you are ready to cook them!) Place them on a plate. Cover them with a wet paper towel or be green, use a thin face towel or cheese cloth (which you use only when you’re cooking).
Place the plate in microwave for about 7-8 minutes. Bring the plate out to check on them to see if they are ready. If not, place them back inside the microwave. However, it should be, usually, in about 7-8 minutes.
Add a little Smart Balance, a dash of garlic salt if you like that and enjoy!
Mom and Dad, this is an excellent veggie choice for less than 15 minutes.
