Carpe Diem

We are doing it.  We are letting go of “our what if’s”  “our fears”  “our self-imposed boundaries” “our negative self-talks”  “our doubts”  “our meaningless stuff”  “our complacent and redundant familiar routines” for a chance to live a Passion, a Dream of a Lifetime.   There is only ONE life time for each of us.

We are saying HECK NO to the Status Quo with our now 7yo M.  It has to be done.  We will glide into our 50’s,  heads held high with fewer regrets.

This card says it all

So go forth.  Seize the day.  Make your leap.  Don’t wait too long.  There are no leaps too small or too large.

Is it running a marathon?

Is it learning a new language?

Is it making a pilgrimage to a holy land?

Is it letting go?

Is it being true to you and who you are?

Is it traveling round the world?

Is it living simply?

Is it living life with more meaning and less meaningless things?

Is it becoming more spiritual?

What’s your leap?

Don’t let others tell you it cannot be done.  Don’t let them doubt you.    Say it with a smile “WATCH ME,” then go out there and do it.

We Say NO to the Status Quo

Live Green. Live Small.  Give Large.  Take Little.

Take Notice.  Take Action.

  1. I’m so happy for you guys and watching you sell all of your stuff got me going! The selling of my stuff round 2 has started again! Carpe Diem!

  2. Hi! I just found your blog and can’t wait to come back and read more. My husband and I will leave on extended travels in the U.S. in May 2011. It’s great to see so many others taking the leap before retirement and just living their dreams.

  3. Congratulations to you all – far too often we are held back by our fears. I can’t wait to hear more about your incredible journey. We only get once chance in this life – there’s no use waiting around for happiness to find you…glad you are making your own happiness.

Keep us eager-readers posted! Oh, and make sure to include pics of your new digs in beautiful Chiang Mai!
